Washing + care of the gloves For best results, hand wash or gentle machine wash on cold. Wash inside out. Lay flat for drying. Do not place them in a dryer.

Apply Willow Organic Healing Balm on hands + combine with these gloves for an intensive overnight treatment. You can cut the glove tips off to stay cooler in hot weather, if your fingertips aren’t affected.

Many activities around home + work can cause skin conditions of the hands.

It is important to determine what irritating chemicals or practices are contributing to your condition, in addition to changing the way you manage this. "Dishpan hands" are actually a form of hand eczema. Constant wetting + drying of the hands breaks down the skin’s protective outer barrier. (Willow Balm is an excellent product that has proven to create the much needed water barrier that is absent with people suffering with such hand skin conditions.)Chemical irritants in household cleansers can make things worse. Even folding laundry can irritate tender skin. When you wear rings, it can trap irritants underneath. Remove rings when doing housework + before washing and drying your hands. Clean your rings regularly to remove irritants and bacteria. If you need to work with water, put on your cotton gloves + then apply unlined powder-free vinyl or neoprene gloves. (Latex in rubber gloves can cause allergies.)
